Storm Technologies, Inc (STI) is proud to be the recipient of many awards in the past year. Most recently, Dick Storm, CEO of Storm Technologies was named 2010 Business Person of the Year by the Stanly Community College (SCC) Phi Beta Lambda (PBL)chapter. Phi Beta Lambda is a national leadership organization for college students in business-related programs, and the award was presented by chapter members during a recent tour of the Albemarle facility.

 

In January 17, 2010 Storm was named the Small Business of the Year at the Stanly County Chamber of Commerce annual meeting. Matt Smith, 2008 recipient of the award, introduced STI as this year’s winner, adding that he believed the award is one of the best recognitions a business in the area could receive.

 

Other awards STI have been honored with includes the Governor's Award for Excellence in Workforce Development and Business North Carolina Business of Year Runner UP. Below are photos taken at these award ceremonies.
